SYMBOLIC LONDON PRESENTS: A Celebration of Photography by Bob Gruen

Bob Gruen is one of the most well-known and respected photographers in rock and roll. Having photographed legends including the Rolling Stones, John Lennon, Johnny Rotten, Muddy Waters, Elvis, Madonna, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley and Tina Turner, he has captured the music scene for over forty years in images that have gained worldwide recognition. In the spring of 2007 FAAP University in Sao Paulo, Brazil presented an exhibition of Bob Gruenʼs work. Titled ROCKERS, the exhibition attracted 40,000 visitors and was shown from April to July 2008 at Morrison Hotel Gallery on the Bowery in New York City. In November 2010 Bob was inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame.


SYMBOLIC LONDON
 is pleased to present a celebration of work by Bob Gruen with an exhibition dedicated to his legendary career. In conjunction to the show will be work by Ronnie Wood, Hubert Kretzschmar, John Pasche and more. Follow this LINK for a complete list of available artwork. Symbolic London presents a 50 year celebration of the Rolling Stones with a group exhibition honoring the Artists who have been commissioned and others who have been inspired by the legendary band. Ronnie Wood Talks At Broome Street Gallery Art Show Opening

While it appears the Rolling Stones aren’t hitting the road in 2012, it does not mean certain band members aren’t keeping busy. A second induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a worldwide art exhibition and a concert in Atlantic City are all occupying guitarist Ronnie Wood‘s social calendar at the moment, making him a pretty busy man. Wood appeared in New York City Monday (April 9) at Broome Street Gallery, Pop Up Gallery New York City, which is featuring his art for a three-month exhibition dubbed “Faces, Time and Places,” to field a few questions and discuss the many projects and events he’s involved in.
